it was raining this morning when we woke up. by the time we set off from burton farm it was pretty much a white out. that lifted to cloud, which eventually separated to give us sun, before clouding over again. i think that's what they call changeable.
it was a late start. but we made good time into salcombe. six miles in just over two hours. and there were hills.
after lunch we made less good time. but we did have a look around a coastwach visitor centre. we also had a bit of a sunbathe.
we're now camped up a mile further on from this sign:
hoping the tents dry out a bit from this mornings hasty packing before we have to get into them.

going by the sign we're at 463 miles now. going by the official distance calculator, we're at 465.3. it feels more like the 16 or so miles of the distance calculator, than the 14 using the sign, so i'm gonna stick with 465. either way, we're a bloody long way round now.
You're amazing and I love you. x
