day 35: five weeks in

i literally can't believe i've been going five weeks. yet minehead feels like a year ago!

if someone came along and told me they'd added on another two hundred miles, i'd walk them. happily enough aswell. but i'm really quite glad i'll be done in a few days and i'll get to see all my friends and stuff. five and a bit weeks is definitely long enough for me.

i've just realised that sounds downbeat, but it's actually been a great day for walking. we (the coasters and i) did the stretch along the landward side of fleet lagoon today, behind chesil beach. a good, long, mostly flat stretch in glorious sunshine, with occasional whispy clouds and a perfect breeze. good times indeed.
